Gill and Nicola are the course directors and are responsible for the organisation of the course and oversee all the 'behind the scenes' work. Over the duration of the course, you will receive support and feedback regarding the progress with your learning from one of our AMSPAR qualified mentors.
Our Mentors are: Drew, Sue and Maddy.
I worked as a Medical Secretary for many years within the NHS having gained the City and Guilds / AMSPAR Diploma in Medical Terminology in 1991. I have also achieved the TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have taught Medical English to many foreign doctors and nurses.
My name is Nicola and I live in Cheshire with my husband and 3 children. I qualified with First Class Honours as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2002 and spent most my 12 year Speech Therapy career working with Stroke patients experiencing communication or swallowing difficulties. I joined Mediterm in 2013 and find the language of medical terminology fascinating. One of the favourite parts of my job is seeing the wonderful feedback we receive from students who have studied with us.
